14 GOOD REASONS TO JOIN AND SUPPORT THE PROVINCETOWN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

1.  We are the ONLY Provincetown visitor information center, referring visitors to our Member businesses and much more (at no cost to the Town of Provincetown).

2.  We provide a space to distribute our member brochures to the public & offer a daily "call in your vacancy" service to our members.

3.  We advertise Provincetown in mainstream newspapers, magazines and travel guides with National circulation and are involved in international travel promotions.

4.  We publish over 100,000 promotional brochures annually which are mailed in response to written, faxed, e-mail and telephone requests. We distribute the brochure at Information Centers on the Mass. Pike, Route-25, CCCC, Plymouth, Swansea, I-195E., AAA Clubs nationwide, Great Britain and through Mass. Port   worldwide, and we provide guides and information to visitors already here.

5.  We promote the image of Provincetown as a great place to visit year round through our on going public relations program.

6.  We work with writers of guidebooks, newspaper articles, and magazine features to increase the knowledge of all that Provincetown offers and provide a Photo Library of slides to accompany their articles.

7. We sponsor a scholarship annually for one of our high school students.

8.  We provide a winter guide that is distributed year-round informing the public of all the wonderful events that occur in the shoulder season.

9.  We offer our members an opportunity to be listed on our website with a link, a tile ad and a coupon. The Chamber website is a magnet to visitors from all over the world.

10.  We represent Provincetown at many statewide, regional & international meetings and Conferences on economic improvement issues and tourism.

11.  We are non-political, but we call the attention of our members to hearings and meetings that may be of importance to business.

12.  We support events that may be of historic or economic importance to the entire Community of Provincetown.

13.  We offer our members the opportunity to join a Group Health Insurance Program.
