Kalmar Nyckel Foundation

An experience unlike any other – sail on Kalmar Nyckel, the Queen of the Tall Ship fleet in Provincetown July 15-29, 2018. Wind, water, and sun – the perfect combination of fun and relaxation. Be a passenger on board this magnificent square-rigged full scale replica of the armed merchant ship that brought Swedish settlers to North America in 1638 founding the colony of New Sweden (Delaware). Advance tickets recommended on Sundays, July 15 and 29 and Tuesday – Friday July 17 – 20 and July 24-27 with two sails per day ($60 for adults and $40 for children under 17). Moment Sailing Adventures is outer Cape Cod’s only choice for deluxe private captained sailing day charters.

We offer Day sails aboard the 34′ “Momento” and day, weekend, and destination sails aboard the 47′ “Moment” departing from Provincetown, Cape Cod.

During the summer months, take a 2, 4, 6, or 8 hour day sail around Provincetown Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. Experience wildlife, beaches, lighthouses, and sunsets of this New England gem. Each sailing yacht takes up to six guests and both can be chartered together and sail in tandem to increase your capacity for large groups. Located within the historic and picturesque Provincetown Harbor, a federally designated harbor of refuge, the yacht club was formed in 1867 to encourage and educate boaters of all ages. The club promotes boating, competitive sailing, good seamanship and good sportsmanship. We offer organized water activities and programs for our standing membership as well as to all our visiting boaters. We have open class races every Saturday at 1:00 PM. West End Racing Children’s Community Sailing

Sailing program for children ages 8 – 14. We provide low-cost, affordable instruction in sailing and sailboat racing in a fun and safe environment to children in Provincetown and Truro. The West End Racing Children’s Community Sailing non-profit organization offers children’s sailing program for ages 8-14 providing lessons and equipment for a seasonal registration fee of $100. The program is open to both residents and visitors from Provincetown and Truro. There will be a program instructor and assistant instructors on duty at all times. Regular hours are 9-noon and 1-4 pm weekdays in July and August varying with the weather and tides. Parents/guardians must register children in person at the WERCCS, 83 Commercial St.
