Celebrating our 60th anniversary Marine Specialties has been a Provincetown landmark since 1961. Often known simply as “the army-navy store,” it is an eclectic treasure trove of salvage, surplus, slight irregulars, closeouts, overruns, misprints, mistakes, spare parts, odd lots, cast-offs, direct imports, and new and nearly-new items. The Atlantic Spice Company retail store, since opening in 1994, has become a destination for summer visitors to the Outer Cape, as well as an opportunity for our year-round customers to engage in some retail therapy during the long, cold Cape Cod winter. Gourmet spices, herbs, tea, essential oils and potpourri at wholesale prices. The highest quality culinary herbs and spices, teas, dehydrated vegetables, nuts, seeds, botanicals, essential oils, spice blends, potpourri ingredients and fragrance oils all at wholesale prices.

All of the items found in our extensive wholesale catalog are available in the store at the same great discounts. Browse among the more than 250 herbs, spices and baking and food items that range from allspice to zaatar including saffron and vanilla beans.

Our eclectic mix of gourmet food items, dried fruits and nuts, coffees and teas, is matched only by our unique collection of houseware and tabletop items, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.

The retail store, which is located at the junction of Rt 6 and RT 6A in North Truro in the front section of our big blue warehouse, is open year-round Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. Wheelchair accessible.
