Cape Cod Light

In Truro, Massachusetts, on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Highland Light was the first lighthouse on Cape Cod. Erected in 1797, Highland Light, also known as Cape Cod Light, has warned seafarers for over 200 years of the treacherous coastline along outer Cape Cod. Highland Light offers tours of the Lighthouse tower, exhibits and Keeper’s Shop. The Keeper’s shop carries a selection of gifts, postcards, books and apparel so you can remember your visit to Cape Cod’s first Lighthouse. TOWER CLIMBS: Please note: There is a 48” height restriction to climb the tower. The Lighthouse and Keeper’s Shop are open from Mid-April until the end of October. Please check the website for open times. www.highlandlighthouse.org
