On board the elegant 1874 designed Cutter Bloodhound, and locals favorite Schooner Hindu (1925), we will pass by the Long Point Lighthouse, look for seals in the cove, and circle houseboats, all while getting the best view of Provincetown.

You’ll get a chance to help our crew raise or brail a sail! We offer hour and a half family friendly day sails, 2 hour sunset sails, and 4 hour whale watch sails, as well as private charters.

The Impossible Dream, a universally accessible catamaran, is dedicated to raising awareness of barrier-free design and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities. Since 2015, the Impossible Dream has sailed more than 30,000 miles along the Eastern Seaboard of North America. Each summer we provide FREE sailing trips for groups of wheelchair users and people with various life-changing illnesses and disabilities.

When not sailing the East Coast, the Impossible Dream is based at Shake-A-Leg Miami, one of the most accessible community boating centers in the world. From this home base, we continue to introduce those with disabilities, their families, and our community to the joy of sailing. We work year-round to provide people with disabilities a new way to improve their quality of life.

Howards End Guest House

Howards End is situated in the very heart of Provincetown, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a good night’s rest. We are just steps away from the ferry, bus station and town beaches. Howards End’s intimate size makes it ideally suited for both couples and singles. Guest rooms are cheerful, comfortable and airy, and we offer a choice of King, Queen, or twin sized beds, with private or shared bathrooms. All our guest rooms are equipped with modern ductless A/C units, which are extremely quiet and efficient.

The house, built in 1840, was the residence of the whaling Captain Ezra Cook. In 1946 it was converted into a guest house. It is one of Provincetown’s oldest continuously operating Bed & Breakfasts. Howard Weiner bought the property in 1997, and renamed the business to “Howards End Guest House”. Unfortunately he passed away in October 2015. Beth Ann Boat Excursions operates off of MacMillan Pier, has two spacious boats, and offers a variety of types of trips. Our two boats can accommodate up to six passengers, have sound systems, refrigerators for your food and drink, and full size bathrooms. Choose between the 38 foot Beth Ann, our flagship, which has multiple relaxation areas and an upper deck, or the 29 foot Bethie, a boat reminiscent of the old cruising boats of Newport, Rhode Island.

We offer a number of fishing trips – for striped bass, bluefish, and even tuna. We supply all the equipment you need, help you along if you are new to fishing, and fillet your catch for that nights dinner. We have all day, half day and a shorter condensed trips so we can fit into whatever your schedule dictates.

Whale watching, Beth Ann Boat Excursions, and Provincetown go hand in hand, and we offer you the opportunity to see these tremendous mammals up close and personal, but without the 250 other people you contend with on the big boats. We go where the whales are, and if we have to go a little further and stay out a little longer to give you a fantastic experience we will.

Looking for something different? Try our two hour Harbor or Sunset cruises, or thrill your kids with the Kids Sea Creature cruise. Or go bigger, and join us on our quest to find and watch the predator of the sea, the Great White Shark!

Our hot and cold lobster rolls start with whole, local lobsters shucked by hand every day. We make our french fries from scratch using potatoes from Maine. And our raw bar features local shellfish, often including oysters from Provincetown. Cape Cod beer flows alongside other New England brews, and our wine list features vintages grown here in the United States and 3,000 miles away in France.

Housed in a 200 year-old building, our communal dining room opens onto the bustle of downtown Provincetown while our backyard seating area opens out onto Cape Cod Bay.

Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Winter hours 11am-7pm. Lunch 11am-3pm, dinner 3-7pm. Grab-and-Go meals available all day.

Special dinners every Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Seafood specials every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Guests are welcome to eat in our backyard — in our heated tent or outdoors.

We also have a great selection of quality wines at great prices, too!

Shop in person at the Canteen or pre-order online for pick-up from our our online ordering system.
