Celebrating 177 years, this unique Provincetown bed and breakfast located in the heart of the art gallery district is a lovingly maintained 1836 Greek Revival. The Inn at Cook Street features two cottages, two bedroom/living room suite combinations, and four bedroom suites all with private bath and some with fireplaces and sundecks. Many of our accommodations have private entrances and access from the secluded gardens as well as from the main house. A gas grill is available for all guests as well as the gardens, deck and exclusive access to the bay beach, only steps away.
With two cottages and koi pond set amidst our beautiful gardens many have spoken their vows and others have found time to simply immerse themselves in its history and romance while visiting America’s first art colony.

Located downtown on Commercial Street, the Library is both a literal and metaphorical center of the Provincetown community, housing nearly 40,000 items, more than 30 works of art from the Town’s Art Collection, and the Rose Dorothea Schooner model.

The second floor hosts a wonderful children’s section. It is well worth a visit upstairs for all ages to view the incredible full size fishing boat which won the famous Lipton Cup race in the early 1900’s!

Also, there is a great children’s library, book section, imagination area, special programs, Art & Story Time on the lawn, Summer Read Aloud, Magic the Gathering- Commander Club, free internet access for adults and kids!

It’s a great building to relax, see beautiful local art and regroup!
