31st Annual Provincetown Portuguese Festival
Festival continues to share the heritage
Planning is underway for the 31st Annual Portuguese Festival and the 80th Blessing of the Fleet, and we’re looking ahead to another memorable weekend in 2026—filled with music, traditional dancing, delicious food, and meaningful moments that bring our community together.
Festival Weekend kicks off with the Flag Raising Ceremony on Monument Hill, set against the picturesque backdrop of Provincetown and the Pilgrim Monument. From there, a full schedule of events will celebrate the town’s rich Portuguese heritage and fishing traditions.
As always, the Festival concludes with the Fishermen’s Mass and the Blessing of the Fleet, now in its 80th year. We’re pleased to share that the Miss Lilly, a lobster boat captained by Mike Rego and named in honor of his daughter, has been selected as the lead boat for the 2026 Blessing on June 28th.
