Every Thursday, we publish stories for and about the people who live and work in Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, and Eastham, and those who love this place from afar.

Our store houses over 4,000 books neatly displayed across 30 sections including fiction, non-fiction, kid’s books, Cape Cod, LGBTQ+, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, poetry, and much more. Our store also features some wonderful non-book items such as stationary, cards, postcards, magazines, vinyl records, and candles.
We’re open nearly every day for browsing 10+ months of the year and also host author events and signings throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
We strive to be a doorway to discovery for everyone who walks through our doors and can’t wait to welcome you to our home at 229 Commercial St.
Most of the services provided are prepaid by our tax dollars. As a result, it costs job seekers and employers nothing to take advantage of these services. To benefit from these services, all a job seeker or employer needs do is become a member of MassHire-Cape and Islands Career Center.

More About the Inn
The Brasswood Inn is a stately, 11-room Victorian mansion with updated amenities and ample indoor and outdoor space for guests to enjoy. The term “Brasswood” is a musical reference inspired by the materials used to create co-owners Tom’s and Brian’s primary instruments: the trumpet (brass) and the marimba (wood), respectively. Music plays such an important role in their lives that each room is now named after an influential American composer, songwriter and/or performer who has had a profound impact on them personally and has contributed significantly to the identity of American music.
The Braemar is as relaxing or active as you desire. Bask in the sun at our outdoor pool or simply relax on your private deck. Most 2nd floor units have a peek of Cape Cod Bay and all units have an exclusive deck from which to relax and enjoy!
The Braemar offers visitors to Cape Cod a comfortable alternative to the congestion in town offering ample parking and over-sized quarters. The Braemar is located on Route 6A in North Truro along the seasonal Flex Shuttle bus offering transportation to Provincetown.

Sondheim Tribute Revue brings Peregrine Theatre Ensemble to the Provincetown stage once again after a three year hiatus. In Peregrine’s opinion, Stephen Sondheim is one of the greatest composers and lyricists of the last 100 years and we are showcasing the brilliance of his artistry and music in a ninety minute, no intermission, give it all you’ve got extravaganza. This production is not to be missed!
