Gallery 193

Gallery 193 Artist Studios and Exhibition Space is a newly formed, artist-run gallery and working-studio space located on the second floor at 193 Commercial Street. The gallery brings together six local artists, with extensive resumes and artistic representation, in a collaborative venture that reflects the town’s long tradition of open studios and artist-led spaces.

Open seven days a week during the season and on Friday nights during Gallery Strolls, Gallery 193 welcomes walk-ins and invites visitors to engage directly with artists at work.

The seasonal program includes individual and group shows, as well as guest artists. Work by resident artists includes oil and acrylic painting, with landscapes, seascapes, portraits, and florals, many of which are inspired by the extraordinary light of Provincetown and the Lower Cape.  Access is by exterior stairs to the second floor. Join the artists of the all-new Gallery 193 for Open Studios Saturday through Monday from 10 am - 4 pm, weather permitting, at 193 Commercial Street. Enjoy a studio tour and meet with the artists, including Syd Hale, Catherine Skowron, Glenna Hartwell, Rob Longley, Brenda Silva, and Ed Walsh.
