ASGCC Announces Return of Annual “A Night at the Chef’s Table” and Continuation of Newest Fundraiser “Restaurants for Recovery”
Provincetown, MA, May 20, 2026 – AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod (ASGCC) is bringing back one of its most anticipated annual traditions this summer while also entering year two of a new initiative aimed at expanding support for harm reduction and recovery programs across the Cape.
On Thursday, June 4th, ASGCC will once again host A Night at the Chef’s Table, its longstanding dining event that highlights the region’s culinary talent and raises funds for the organization’s free HIV services. In addition, following a successful first year, ASGCC continues the new Restaurants for Recovery event, a partnership event inviting local restaurants to contribute a portion of their food sales on that same night to overdose prevention and recovery efforts.
Originally established during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis in Provincetown and the Outer Cape, A Night at the Chef’s Table is a beloved community event. Participating chefs curate specialty dining experiences hosted at restaurants throughout Provincetown and neighboring communities. Tickets are priced at $175 per guest, with proceeds supporting ASGCC’s HIV services, including its daily meals program that served over 8,900 meals this past year alone.
The newly created Restaurants for Recovery event reflects ASGCC’s continued commitment to preventing overdose deaths on the Cape. Participating restaurants will donate a percentage of their food revenue from June 4 (ranging from 10% up to full-day proceeds) to support recovery resources and harm reduction services.
“The continued support of A Night at the Chef’s Table speaks to the legacy of ASGCC’s historic response to HIV,” said Dan Gates, ASGCC’s President & CEO. “And Restaurants for Recovery is the perfect companion event – with both taking place the same night – reminding people that ASGCC’s services go far beyond HIV while providing vital funds for its frontline services.”
Funds raised through A Night at the Chefs Table support ASGCC’s sexual health services, while those raised through Restaurants for Recovery support ASGCC’s Overdose Awareness, Prevention & NARCAN Response services.
Restaurants interested in participating in Restaurants for Recovery can contact ASGCC at 508-487-9445 or email events@asgcc.orgfor more information. Tickets for A Night at the Chef’s Table are on sale now through asgcc.org/events.
