Provincetown Chamber of Commerce Joins Regional Chamber Consortium to Strengthen Leadership and Collaboration Across Cape Cod
Provincetown, MA — The Provincetown Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its participation in the Regional Chamber Consortium (RCC), a two-year workforce training and regional collaboration initiative supported by a $58,080 Workforce Training Fund grant awarded to the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce. Yarmouth serves as the lead organization for the 11 participating Cape Cod chambers of commerce.
The regional consortium includes the Yarmouth, Dennis, Orleans, Cape Cod Canal Region, Eastham, Provincetown, Brewster, Mashpee, Sandwich, Greater Hyannis, and Chatham chambers of commerce. Together, these organizations represent over 3,200 businesses across Cape Cod, creating a strong regional network to support employers, strengthen the workforce, and promote economic growth.
The two-year initiative will provide workforce training to participating Chamber leaders and staff, strengthening their ability to support local businesses and contribute to regional economic development. Training will focus on artificial intelligence and digital tools, strategic board leadership and regional economic development, regional marketing and program collaboration, and succession planning and leadership development. Through shared learning and practical application, participating Chambers aim to strengthen member engagement and retention, enhance organizational effectiveness, and expand regional partnerships.
“As the Executive Director of the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce and chairperson of the Local Cape Chambers Collaborative (LC3), I think this grant opportunity is the epitome of our group’s mission as it puts ‘collaboration’ at in the forefront of our work. This RCC grant will help us provide better products and services to our members and respective communities alike by strengthening our position as leaders and drivers of business and economic development in our region,” said Radu Luca, Executive Director of the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce.
As the lead organization, the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce will coordinate the consortium’s efforts with its regional partners throughout the two-year grant period. The program will combine virtual and in-person training with regional collaborative learning sessions, allowing Chamber professionals to exchange ideas, practice new approaches, and strengthen partnerships across Cape Cod. Training will be facilitated by Core Business XP Solutions, with grant administration support provided by National Training Associates.
The award reflects the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ continued investment in workforce development through the Workforce Training Fund, which supports employers in developing employee skills and building stronger, more competitive businesses.
The Provincetown Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working alongside its Regional Chamber Consortium partners to strengthen Chamber leadership, share knowledge and resources, and explore new opportunities for collaboration that benefit local businesses and contribute to a stronger, more resilient regional economy.
