PROVINCETOWN, MA — A free concert titled “Shadows” by East End Music will herald the holiday season with a mix of performers and musical styles. The Friday, November 20, 5pm concert features Claire Annette, Brian Calhoun, Chan Collins, Loren Lee, Marissa Miller and Rev. Brian Raiche, pastor of St. Mary of the Harbor, site of the event. The concert will be followed by a reception with light refreshments in the church hall. The church is located at 517 Commercial St., Provincetown.
This is one of the final concerts of 2026 by East End Music and is part of St. Mary’s community outreach. The series brings more activities to Provincetown’s East End, widens the type of entertainment offerings to the community and strengthens the church’s outreach.
While all are welcome to its events, East End Music was established earlier this year to bring classical and other musical programs to Provincetown’s East End. “We’ve been delighted by the area’s response to our concerts,” said Rev. Raiche. “These free events have been a great way to bring friends and neighbors together and to expose some of them to music they may not often hear.”
The November concert features a host of established musicians. They include Annette, a clarinetist and professor; Calhoun, an accomplished percussionist and singer; Collins, a cellist, who’s performed with the Outer Cape Chorale and at various Provincetown venues; Lee, a multi-talented violinist and actor; Miller, a singer-actor who’s appeared on numerous Cape cabaret and theater stages; and Raiche, an accomplished pianist and singer.
Other free East End Music concerts, featuring talents of varying genres, will be scheduled throughout the new year and will be announced when dates are finalized.
All concerts take place at St. Mary’s. For more information, visit stmaryoftheharbor.org.
