Howards End is situated in the very heart of Provincetown, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a good night’s rest. We are just steps away from the ferry, bus station and town beaches. Howards End’s intimate size makes it ideally suited for both couples and singles. Guest rooms are cheerful, comfortable and airy, and we offer a choice of King, Queen, or twin sized beds, with private or shared bathrooms. All our guest rooms are equipped with modern ductless A/C units, which are extremely quiet and efficient.

The house, built in 1840, was the residence of the whaling Captain Ezra Cook. In 1946 it was converted into a guest house. It is one of Provincetown’s oldest continuously operating Bed & Breakfasts. Howard Weiner bought the property in 1997, and renamed the business to “Howards End Guest House”. Unfortunately he passed away in October 2015. Since then, his partner Yi Zhao took over and the story will go on…
