Adventure awaits! Kalmar Nyckel, the Tall Ship of Delaware, arrives in Provincetown July 21 to 29 for day sails from MacMillan Pier. Come aboard for a unique hands-on experience at the intersection of adventure and education. Haul lines, set sails, hear tales from the crew or simply enjoy the sail. Launched in 1997, Kalmar Nyckel serves as a floating classroom and an inspirational platform for recreational and educational experiences. The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-based educational organization that built, owns, and operates Kalmar Nyckel from Wilmington, DE.

Flyer’s has been a working boatyard for more than 66 years, with experience in repairs on vessels and their engines ranging from 80ft wooden fishing draggers to 6ft fiberglass dinghies.
We also offer mechanical services and winter small boat storage.
The West End Racing Children’s Community Sailing (WERCCS) non-profit organization offers children’s sailing program for ages 8-14 providing lessons and equipment for a seasonal registration fee of $100.
The program is open to both residents and visitors from Provincetown and Truro. There will be a program instructor and assistant instructors on duty at all times. Regular hours are 9-noon and 1-4 pm weekdays in July and August varying with the weather and tides.
Children must be able to swim unassisted for a distance of 100 feet. Parents/guardians must register children in person at the WERCCS.

At 252-feet, 7.5 inches tall and 353 feet above sea level, it is the tallest all-granite structure in the U.S. and includes 60 ramps and 116 steps.
The Monument is designed to resemble Torre Del Mangia, a 14th century tower in Siena, Italy, and is of the Italian Renaissance order of architecture.
The Museum collects, preserves, interprets, researches, exhibits, and publishes archival historical materials and exhibit materials depicting important events of Provincetown history.
You can get to the lighthouse by walking or your own four-wheel drive vehicle with the proper permit; we do not provide public transportation for the tower tours. Please note: The touring season will be suspended if any of the various federally-protected shore birds have nested and block access to the lighthouse. Once the chicks fledge, tours will resume.
