The Alzheimer’s Family Support Center provides an array of free services to Cape Cod’s 10,000 families and individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases. Services include counseling, care consultation, phone support, support groups, education, connection to other available community services, and cultural events. All services are confidential and free of charge, regardless of ability to pay. The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown is an internationally renowned, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to providing a supportive environment and work and study space to emerging artists and writers. It offers 7 month residency fellowships; an open-enrollment summer workshop program in visual arts and creative writing; a free year-round series of readings, art talks and gallery exhibits open to the public; and other community programs in the arts and art education.
