Our work starts with creating affordable homes—so essential to a healthy economy, but a real challenge in communities like ours where seasonal and vacation dynamics drive the market beyond the reach of many who live and work locally all year round.

We also work to launch entrepreneurs and strengthen local businesses. We believe a vibrant future depends on sustaining traditional industries and inspiring new ones—especially when they’re based on renewable natural resources such as fishing, farming, art and hospitality.

In all that we do, we aim to protect the natural environment around us—preserving the character and sustaining the future of this special place we call home.

Waters Edge Cinema

In 2013, the Provincetown Film Society purchase and renovated the 70-seat Whaler’s Wharf Cinema now the Waters Edge Cinema (WE). Upgrades include state of the art HD Digital video and sound in our two screening rooms to offer first run animation, documentary, foreign language and short films. Our annual offerings include first run independent and art house films, mini-film festivals, guest programming selections, including screening opportunities for filmmakers, students and a venue for parties, lectures, book signings and more.

Waters Edge Cinema a non-profit arthouse cinema, operating year-round, and contributing to Provincetown’s tradition as America’s oldest and most vital art colony.

Bowersock Gallery

The Bowersock Gallery was established in 2004 as a venue to encourage and explore a deeper interest and enjoyment for contemporary, modern, abstract and classical works of art. We are dedicated to being one of the foremost art galleries in New England. In 2011 we opened our second location in Mount Dora Florida. Our passion is to serve our clients along with a commitment to foster an environment where inspiration can flourish. Genres include portrait, figure, landscape, still life, sculpture, realism and encaustic works, in diversified forms of visual expression.

We currently represent thirty established New England artists as well as emerging new artists, regionally and nationally recognized, many with memberships in the Guild of Boston Artists, Copley Art Society, the National Sculpture Society and the Pastel Society of America.

We welcome to our gallery young adults and children, but ask parents or guardians to be aware that on display we have many glass and ceramic (breakable!) art objects.

Our goal is to further on going education that informs, engages and enlivens the individual art collector and art community, through innovative art installations, openings, exhibitions and home staging. The Bowersock Gallery’s openness and willingness to evolve and change is paramount to all of our art endeavors.

Conveniently located closest to the bike trails and the beach at Herring Cove. Free parking available for hourly rentals. Open 7 days a week from April through October.

Offering the widest selection of Cannondale rental bicycles including hybrids, comfort bikes, road bikes, fat-tire sand bikes, mountain bikes, tandems, tag-alongs, child trailers, pet trailers, and one speed or multi-speed beach cruisers. All rentals include a lock, helmet, headlight and taillight. Advanced reservations suggested for July and August and can be made online or on the phone.

We sell new and used Cannondale, Schwinn and GT bikes. Our experienced mechanics perform all manner of bicycle repairs and service including tune-ups and flat repair.

Guided bike tours available in season.

Lower Cape Ambulance

LCAA transports almost 1000 patients each year to Cape Cod Hospital, responds to hundreds more local area rescue calls, has a staff of 20 full time paramedics and emt’s and owns and operates two advanced life support ambulances. LCAA is contracted with both Provincetown and Truro to provide 24 hour a day year round EMS transport services. Their staff is well known to the community, many are members of the local rescue squads and fire departments.

Wild Care, Inc.

WILD CARE, INC. is a non profit wildlife rehabiliation center.

Wild Care’s mission is to treat injured, ill and orphaned native wildlife, for release back into the wild, to prevent wildlife casualties through public education and live counseling and to engage the community in conservation through volunteerism.

Since our founding WILD CARE has accepted over 25,000 wild creatures, representing 275 species of birds, mammals and reptiles. WILD CARE receives 800 to 1,400 wild animals per year for treatment.

If you find an injured, orphaned or sick animal, please call our emergency hotline at 508 240-2255.

Wild Care is open 7 days a week from 9:00am -5:00pm throughout the year with extended summer hours. Our Center is located at 10 Smith Lane, Eastham.
